Terms of Service
By using MedOn, you agree to these terms. We've kept them readable — but they're a legal agreement, so please read them before placing an order or registering as a pharmacy partner.
1. About MedOn
MedOn is a technology platform that connects customers with independent pharmacy stores for medicine delivery. We help you find a nearby store, share your prescription, receive a price, pay online, and track delivery. MedOn is not a pharmacy and does not sell medicines directly — licensed stores fulfil all orders.
2. Eligibility
To use MedOn you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate registration information
- Be located in a service area where MedOn operates (currently Jaipur, Rajasthan)
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
3. Customer accounts
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. You're responsible for activity on your account. Don't share your login session with others. Notify us immediately at support@medon.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Orders & prescriptions
- You must upload a valid prescription for medicines that require one under Indian law.
- Prices are set by the accepting pharmacy, not by MedOn. You'll see the full breakdown before you pay.
- You're responsible for reviewing the bill and confirming items before payment.
- Orders may be cancelled if no pharmacy accepts within the allowed time, if payment fails, or if the store cannot fulfil the request.
- Estimated delivery times (~30 minutes) are targets, not guarantees. Delays can happen due to traffic, store preparation, or availability.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through our third-party payment partner (Cashfree). By paying in the app, you authorise the charge for the displayed order total. Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to our refund policy and applicable law — contact support@medon.app for help with a specific order.
6. Pharmacy partners
If you register as a med store partner, you additionally agree to:
- Hold valid licences required to sell medicines in your jurisdiction
- Verify prescriptions before dispensing restricted medicines
- Provide accurate pricing and only supply medicines you actually have or can procure promptly
- Keep your store profile, location, and payout UPI details up to date
- Accept or reject orders honestly — don't accept orders you cannot fulfil
MedOn may suspend partner accounts that violate these rules or receive repeated customer complaints.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload fake or altered prescriptions
- Order controlled substances without a valid prescription
- Harass store staff, delivery partners, or other users
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the app
- Use MedOn for any illegal or fraudulent activity
8. Service availability
We aim to keep MedOn running smoothly but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, expand or reduce service areas, or pause the service for maintenance. We'll try to give reasonable notice for major changes where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
MedOn is a platform connecting you with independent pharmacies. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedOn is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of medicines dispensed by partner stores, nor for delays or errors in fulfilment. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Indian law.
10. Intellectual property
The MedOn name, logo, app design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.
11. Termination
You may stop using MedOn at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the platform. Provisions that should survive termination (like liability limits and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
